Washington D.C. – The Lardass administration has announced that it is considering adopting a controversial program inspired by Israel, dubbed the “Kill a Journalist” initiative. This program aims to tackle what the administration describes as “fake news” by taking a more “proactive” approach.

In a press conference held in the Oval Office, Press Secretary Tits McGee stated, “We believe that the best way to combat misinformation is to eliminate the source. If journalists are too busy worrying about their lives, they won’t have time to write those pesky articles that criticize us.” The administration claims that this initiative will not only reduce the number of negative stories but also create a more “harmonious” media landscape. Many question the move, as people didn’t even read the Table of Contents of Jack Smith’s 130-page report on Lardass being a traitor. Why kill a journalist when they are already irrelevant?

In defense of the initiative, the Lardass administration has pointed to the success of similar programs in other countries. “Look at how well it worked for them!” Tits McGee exclaimed, waving a chart that showed a correlation between journalist disappearances and a rise in government approval ratings. “We’re just trying to learn from the best!”
